Chef Willem Reinders

Since 2010, Sogno di Vino has been proud to call Willem Reinders our Executive Chef. Originally from the Netherlands, Chef Reinders brings decades of experience in world class restaurants to the kitchen of Sogno di Vino. Trained in France, with positions in Paris, London, Belgium, and throughout the Netherlands, Reinders has called the Pacific Northwest home since 1998, when he met his wife Kathy, and settled on Bainbridge Island. Since then, Reinders has worked in such kitchens as Seattle's Sorrento Hotel, the Wing Point Golf and Country Club, and the late Four Swallows Restaurant. Chef Reinders believes that great food begins at the source, with the freshest, most local ingredients, prepared with passion and care. He greatly values the close relationships he's formed over the years with local purveyors, such as Painted Hills Beef, Full Tilth Farms, Persephone Farm, Mount Townsend Creamery, Carlton Farms, and many, many more. Owners, Angela & Rob Scott

With over 25 years experience owning and operating restaurants throughout Southern California, Angela dreamed of continuing her passion for great wine and Italian food when she and husband Rob relocated to the Northwest nearly a decade ago. They immediately fell in love with the inviting, and rustic feel of the space, and the historic charm of downtown Poulsbo. Rob's experience as a yacht captain makes a boating town like Poulsbo a perfect fit. Together, they are living their dreams, and helping to bring first-class cuisine to this vibrant community and its visitors.
